About Oshex
Associates, Inc.,
Oshex Associates, Inc., was founded
in 1975 by Bob and Sally Andres. Bob is a graduate of Clarkson
College's ID program, and his background in aerospace manufacturing
and facilities engineering, and as a Production and Inventory
Control manager for an automotive aftermarket manufacturer,
provided a useful base upon which to build knowledge in the
fields of safety and noise control.
Initially operating as a sole
proprietorship in an 8' x 9' office in the corner of the garage,
the business has grown to employ six people - servicing industrial,
commercial and residential customers throughout the country.
Sally retired as president in 1999, at which time daughter Lisa
Redmond took charge of day-to-day operations.
Bob is still involved with Oshex
today and in particular runs our consulting and training sister
company ESA (Environmental Safety Associates, Inc).
Our name suggests our original
mission of helping companies deal with OSHA compliance in the
areas of:
- Noise Control
- Machine Safety
- Environmental Spill Control
Today, the original mission remains
intact, however, Oshex has branched out into the broad field
of architectural, community, institutional and commercial noise
control and acoustics. Oshex is now truly a full line problem
solver in this important field. In addition, Oshex now offers
flexible curtain and wall solutions for maximizing industrial
and commercial office, storage and production space.
