SOUND BARRIERS

Polydamp® Acoustical Barrier, PAB-0X0, is a dense filled vinyl based polymer designed
to offer transmission loss properties over a broad frequency range. X = 0.5, 1.0, 1.5, and 2.0 lb/sf.

Polydamp® Acoustical Barrier Composite, PAB-011-B4, is a dense filled vinyl based polymer designed to offer transmission loss properties over a broad frequency range. It has a ¼ decoupling layer of acoustical foam on one side with psa on the foam side. The barrier is available in weights of 0.5, 1.0, 1.5, and 2.0 lb/sf.

APPLICATIONS:
The decoupling layer acts as an isolator, allowing the barrier to function at it?s optimum level.

Polydamp® Acoustical Barrier PABA-XXX-XX, is a noise barrier composite consisting of an absorber foam with a film face, a barrier layer of filled vinyl and, a foam decoupler layer. An adhesive backing and edge sealing are optional. Available with a variety of decorative/ protective film facings such as:
-TearTuf® Polyester (A Polymer Technology development), in metalized, reinforced metalized, and clear.
-Tedlar® in white, charcoal and gray.
-Tuffylm® urethane in black, bone, gray and white.

APPLICATIONS:
In the PABA composite, the acoustical foam lowers sound pressure levels of incident sound waves, while the barrier layer blocks the passage of sound.

Polydamp®Pyramid Floormat (PAB-011-PYCC) is a dense filled vinyl with a pyramid pattern surface combined with a ¼ closed cell foam. It is designed to isolate noise being transmitted through the floor of off-highway construction, and over-the-road vehicles. The patterned surface is skid resistant, and easily swept clean due to its non-directional pattern.

Polydamp® Ribbed Floormat (PAB-XXX-RBCC) is composed of a dense, flexible filled vinyl with a ribbed pattern surface. It is designed to isolate noise being transmitted through floors of off-highway, construction, and over the road vehicles.

Polydamp® Acoustical Barrier with Twist Black facing (PAB-011-TB) is a heavy duty floormat for vehicle and equipment cabs. The rug like vinyl wear surface resists abrasion and offers a durable, non skid surface for sure footing. PAB barrier floormat weighs one (1) pound per square foot and is backed with a one quarter (1/4) inch thick open cell Polyurethane foam decoupler. PAB-011-TB is available with a 3 mil Acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive layer.


APPLICATIONS:
Used on the floor of heavy trucks, heavy equipment and occupational vehicle cabs. The floor mat offers increased transmission loss performance to reduce the noise in the operator cab.


Polydamp® Acoustical Lead Barrier (PALA), is a noise barrier composite consisting of an absorber foam with an optional film facing or embossed surface, a barrier layer of acoustical lead, a foam decoupler layer with an optional pressure sensitive adhesive backing (PSA).
